Busy as ever, the Art for Cure team is launching its major annual exhibition online on 30th April – 30th May 2021. The hope is that sales from this event will enable the charity to reach its goal of £1million donated to breast cancer support services and UK national breast cancer research.
Entitled Blue Sky, the exhibition brings together the works of over 100 national artists, sculptors, photographers, and ceramicists, creating a vision of optimism and sense of the great outdoors.
Running in conjunction with Blue Sky is the ‘Great Create Auction’, an auction which offers incredible money-can’t buy experiences into the creative worlds of painters, curators, chefs, top sound recorders, sculptors, and garden designers and their Blue Sky Summer Draw with lots of fantastic prizes to equip you for summer!
Founder Belinda Gray says: “We have thrown ourselves into adapting to online art sales, extending our audience by thousands, and continuing to offer some of the most exciting collections of art online.
“Sales from our exhibitions enable us to sustain our valuable donations supporting leading-edge national breast cancer research and grant-giving to many valuable services supporting those facing a breast cancer diagnosis, which presently stands at one in seven women in the UK.”
